On the commencement of the firm in February 2014, Narelle Ahmet and Lynden Kenyon partnered to bring together almost 50 years of combined litigation experience and a commitment to adopt an unwavering and tenacious conduct of claims against delinquent insurers and debtors.
From mid 2016 Narelle Ahmet assumed the sole principal role with the retirement of Lynden Kenyon.
Narelle Ahmet commenced her articles with Kenyons Lawyers at their head Preston office in 2003 with Lynden Kenyon initially as her principal. After being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2004 in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Narelle continued her career with Kenyons Lawyers achieving the status of a Senior Associate until December 2009.
Slater and Gordon Limited acquired Kenyons Lawyers in December 2009 and Narelle remained with the new firm until February 2014 as the Manager of the Commercial Litigation Claims area of their Preston and Reservoir.
Narelle’s formal tertiary qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws.
The expertise and experience of Narelle whilst litigation based is nonetheless diverse and includes: Motor Vehicle Disputes, Contractual Disputes, Insurance Law, Debt Recovery and Enforcement, Building Disputes and Criminal Law.
Moreover Narelle is proficient in the Turkish language.
Julianne Poulos joined the firm in 2015 whilst completing her law degree. Prior to completing her Bachelor of Laws in 2018, Julianne also completed a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University. Julianne was admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer in November 2019. With Narelle Ahmet’s guidance, Julianne has gained great expertise and knowledge in civil litigation and more particularly in the field of motor vehicle disputes, insurance law and debt recovery.
Julianne is proficient in the Greek language.
Stephanie Camilleri joined the firm in 2021 as a Trainee Lawyer. Stephanie was admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer in April 2022 and specialises in civil litigation, primarily motor vehicle disputes, insurance law and debt recovery representing individual clients. Stephanie has extensive experience in handling motor and property claims from inception to resolution, either by settlement or through the litigation process.
The Law Clerks at Kenyon and Ahmet Lawyers include Michelle Simoni, Mary Gruevski and Stephanie Adelinis, who have together more than 87 years experience working together with broad litigation experience.
